History Of Bundt Cake
This cake is called Bundt cake due to the unique shape of the cake made from a bundt pan. Bundt cake looks like a doughnut. According to Wikipedia Bundt cake is derived from a European brioche-like cake called Gugelhupf. Gugelhupf is traditionally known as Bundkuchen which means a cake for gathering. The Bundt cake pan was invented by Dave Dalquist, who was the owner of Minnesota's Nordic Ware company.
